Book in a mini photo session with Georgia from Tide and Tribe Photography to capture the memory of this day forever. At a special rate of just $50, this includes 2 professional edited images of pictures at the venue with a beautiful backdrop. Timing may be subject to change due to the nature of the event! To make the most of this opportunity, it is recommended that families who are booking pictures dress in beige, browns, white, soft pinks or soft blues. You are welcome to bring along friends and family to take advantage of this great price. Tickets MUST be purchased through NMBC members to get the discount. Join us for our annual NMBC Trains Day birthday celebration. Once again, we will open our doors to friends and family. Mark your calendars for Sunday, September 21st, and get ready for a day of train-filled fun! This exclusive event is reserved for NMBC members and their guests, offering a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a day of trains, rides, and memories. Here are the details:  Date: Sunday, September 21, 2025  Time: Trains will be running from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with a short break for lunch, and then resuming from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Pricing: NMBC Members: FREE Children (Non-Members): $10 per child Adults (Non-Members): $15 per adult Family Package (2 adults + 2 children): $40 This is a private event, but ticket sales do help with our annual fundraising efforts, so invite your friends and family to share in the excitement. To make the most of your day, here are some important notes:  Wear comfortable, covered shoes to ride the trains safely.  BYO lunch, snacks, and drinks (please note that no food can be purchased on-site).  Picnic tables are available, and there's plenty of grassy space for you to set up your picnic blankets and enjoy the day. We can't wait to see you at this special event, and we encourage you to bring your friends and family to share in the excitement. Come and explore the beautiful Hunter Wetlands. NMBC is covering the cost of entry for your whole family which includes feeding the Magpie Geese at 10:30am. You can also pay an extra $5 per person to enjoy a reptile encounter show (children under 2 are free). 

Tickets are usually $16.95 per child under 6 & $20.95 child 6 and over .  Come along with your children and pay only $9 per child under 6, or $11 per child 6 years and up. We will be hosting TWO sessions on Sunday: - Morning session from 10am to 11am - Afternoon session from 2pm to 3pm Please arrive 15 minutes early to ensure you get your passes and can enjoy the full hour

This is a child-free event, though babies under 6 months are welcome if they can remain in a pram or on a floor mat, and alternate care isn’t possible.
